Hundreds of thousands of people are fleeing the civil war in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Now France's Foreign Minister Bernard Couchner has called for 1,500 European soldiers to be deployed to the crisis region. Some of this is interesting, though I guess the primary reason why Ford thinks it is cool is because an American car company is working on it, rather than all the foreign car makers who figured this stuff out 10 years ago, granted, only (as far as I have heard) on fancy cars.I am not convinced the limiting the volume to 44% is all that useful of an idea for kids. I do think the muting the stereo until you fasten your seat belt is interesting.
