NBC seems to be having a change of heart this week. The network recently wrapped up their streaming of the Olympics using Microsoft's Silverlight technology. However if you tuned in for this week's NFL season opener, NBC was using Adobe's Flash technology instead of Silverlight. Yesterday it was announced that Adobe will be announcing (gotta love announcements announcing announcements) Creative Suite 4 on September 23rd. Adobe will be holding a special little event online showing all of the upcoming features of CS4 (which is rumored to be released as early as this Fall). With all the fuss about Google Chrome scoring 75/100 and a fresh round of comparisons of compliance (Safari on Mac gets 72, FF3 on Win gets 69 I believe?), it's interesting to read that an internal Alpha of AIR scores 100 according to Ted Patrick. Adobe just announced that the NFL is going to use Flash to deliver live, online streaming video for NBC Sunday and Thursday night football games.
