Ibrate was rejected -- and that one was even raising money for breast cancer research. Today, over at Mac Rumors, I read about "Pull My Finger"'s rejection for limited utility. Right at the bottom of the rejection letter was the name "Victor Wang". ...

Talk about a lame excuse. Apple, long known as the tech-company that does whatever it feels like doing, has rejected an up-and-coming iPhone application on grounds that it provides “limited utility.” Granted, the iPhone application, Pull My Finger, does little more than generate a “fart” sound, Apple’s rejection of the application is a disturbing move. The precedent for Apple to reject future iPhone applications that it just doesn’t like has been set. Victor Wang, Pull ...

Filed under: Software, iPhone, App StoreOne of my favorite iPhone/iPod touch applications, Major League Baseball's At Bat [App Store link] has been updated to version 1.2 with great new features. For the unfamiliar, At Bat provides up-to-the-minute statistics on ongoing baseball games, including the count at the plate, pitching and batter statistics ... even video clips of a game that's in progress. It's a little treasure for baseball fans (like me) who can't always watch ...

Filed under: Portable Audio, Portable Video Looks like Apple is continuing to push the envelop of digital music with new "interactive album applications" set for imminent release. The first artist in the cue is Snow Patrol, scheduled to release their latest studio album next month. [Via The Raw Feed]Read | Permalink | Email this | Comments
