State owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) network may soon launch services of Blackberry and Apple iPhone to bring premium customers under its fold. Incidentally, BSNL is the only telecom operator to have licnece for 3G services as it has already been allotted 3G radio frequencies. While Airtel and Vodafone could only get 3G spectrum if they win the licence auctions. This would mean BSNL will be the first telco in India offer 3G service ...

The non-racial efforts to create a democratic and just society where Africans will be bosses forever continues. In fact, it gained momentum, slightly, when Nelson Mandela stepped [...]

If you’re a Technabob regular, you know I’m a sucker for cool modern watches. I don’t know why - maybe it’s that I got stuck wearing a dorky Casio calculator watch as a kid that makes me want to rebel in my old age. Created by Italian architect/designer Denis Guidone, these watches work their magic thanks to their minimal modern design. From a stark planet-like orbital design to a set of super-skinny hairline hands radiating ...

Filed under: Gaming, Peripherals Here's an interesting one. That red / black Xbox 360 controller that was showcased back in July is now available to any ole consumer in the US, Canada, Latin America New Zealand and Asia, and it comes bundled with a Play & Charge Kit and red rechargeable battery for $64.99. For whatever reason, Microsoft's totally missing a golden opportunity to cash in on the holiday shopping season by reserving the green ...

By Tim Wise - 9/13/08 For those who still can’t grasp the concept of white privilege, or who are looking for some easy-to-understand examples of it, perhaps this list will help. White privilege is when you can get pregnant at seventeen like Bristol Palin and everyone is quick to insist that your life and that of your [...]

To be perfectly honest, I'm not quite sure what this young woman is wearing. (Can you help?) I do know that it looks so perfect, so quintessentially San Francisco, with the short dress (is that a dress or a skirt?), t-shirt, leggings, fixie, brooks saddle, hair cut.... All I know is that she looked so good when she pulled up next to me at a Mission red light that I asked if I could record ...
