Recession or no, people surely won’t stop reading the Gawker Media sites, and as long as Denton & Co. can continue to sell ads on a CPM basis, they should be able to ride this one through. October is another record high, according to the network site, clocking in at 297 million pageviews, and 22 million unique visitors. Crazy. More at the Gawker Media site, and over at Quantcast. A former AOL exec has recruited a team of tech veterans to help fund his new sports blogging network. Jim Bankoff, one-time programming chief of AOL, has just secured a “mid-seven-figure sum” of money for SportsBlog Nation (also known as SB Nation), a startup that’s been chugging along under the radar for several months now, according to published reports. 说来很讽刺，当我们还在热热闹闹地讨论 Blog Network 这个连中文译名都没有的舶来语的时候，中国版的其实 “Blog Network“已经存在了很长时间并且取得了不错的发展。 现在看来，我觉得新浪、搜狐等BSP下的“博客圈”其实已经具备了外国所谓Blog Network团体的部分特征： 巨大的品牌价值－门户网站对中国互联网的影响力之大是我们有目共睹的 丰富的细分主题 blogger具备较高影响力 －主要是商业圈的名人博客，其文章的可读性和实用价值一般比较高。而且就目前看来，有那个能耐请动国内知名专业人士“开博”的好像只有门户。 统一的blog平台和市场推广 －门户在营销方面的能量比目前的Blogosphere强 有红包可拿（外国的Blog Network称之为reward） －听说的，但我深信不已 由于长期以来，我对门户Blog一直没有深入点击（因为首页链接太多了），再加上IT Blog界素来有丑化门户网站的习惯，所以在上次对Blog Network进行讨论的时候很多人都忽略了门户Blog。当时hung有提到过门户，他的观点认为，中文Blog界之所以不能很好的发展的一个很重要原因是门户网的影响力太大，挤占了本该属于Blog的空间。这个观点不无道理，那为什么门户现在还大力发展自己的博客？原因可能是－他们也看好Blog的将来，从现在开始一点一点地抢占未来的互联网市场。 门户发展Blog Network的优势很多，由于时间关系，我就不列表了。其中最突出的优势，我认为是门户对中国市场的把握能力和丰富的运作经验，这些都是老外及其中国的代理人都很难学会的。 写得很乱，请海涵；有错误，请指出；不同意这个观点，请文明留言。 此外，请勿马甲，谢谢合作！ 附：给我灵感的几个网址 http://business.s... http://blog.sohu.... http://finance.si... http://tech.sina.... http://blog.sina.... 碰巧撞见，无语 http://blog.sina....Shared by LI Haiming (0)Contribute comment
