From teens to tours, Bravo's been busy announcing Top Chef spin offs. Yesterday at the TCA press tour in Los Angeles, they publicized another: Top Chef: Masters. 2009 will bring us a culinary competition that unites some of the brightest stars of the food world. Award winning, widely known chefs, some who have been guest judges on TC, will compete against each other in weekly challenges. Although it sounds a bit like Food Network's Next ...

Project Runway will be back on Bravo for its fifth season beginning Wednesday July 16th at 9pm EST on Bravo before it makes the move to Lifetime for its next run. Bravo will surely try to pull out all the stops for this show. I am hoping for a little more excitement then what we had last season! We can only hope for a fresh set of catch phrases too! The bios suggest this is ...

Wired posted its profile of Julia Allison, the Time Out New York dating columnist and onetime protocelebrity (now in the process of crossing over into the real thing). Yes, the cover story (preceded by the cover itself) retreads much that Gawker readers already know about Allison, and many of you will, no doubt, find the piece altogether too friendly, a celebratory, rather than judgmental, distillation of her techniques for self-promotion and attention whoring. But there ...

Filed under: Industry, Programming, RatingsThis is a rather confusing story. Or maybe all of this heat is getting to me and there's obvious point here I'm missing. Nielsen Media surveyed 82,000 18-49 year-olds (a rather hefty sample), and 75% of the respondents say that Bravo is the most engaging network. Yup, the network of reality shows (is there anything else on the network these days?) holds the attention of that key demographic more than any ...

Here we go again! VH1 (who else?) has just greenlit Scream Queens, a reality show in which 10 unknown actresses desperate to be the next Jamie Lee Curtis or Janet Leigh will compete for a starring role in an upcoming “major” Lionsgate film. And boy are they excited — one Lionsgate rep tells THR that “discovering new talent is always exciting,” while another chimes in by teaching us that “VH1 has had a tremendous track ...
