Over the past year or so, many market-oriented critics of Google, like Scott Cleland and Richard Bennett, have criticized the company for aligning itself with Left-leaning causes and intellectuals. Lately, however, what I find interesting is how many leading leftist intellectuals and organizations have begun turning on the company and becoming far more critical of the America’s greatest capitalist success story of the past decade. The reason this concerns me is that I see a ...

Kevin Donovan has a thoughtful post about “The Durable Internet.” He asks: Now, there are examples of trickle down and mass rebellion. Tim does a nice job in “The Durable Net” of exploring these and does the most to bring me closer to faith in lay users. Here’s his first point: The gating question is whether or not the elements of the Interstate Commerce Commission that led to the inefficiencies that Lee claims are at all related to the non-disciminatory language that he claims connect the two. If ...

Thanks to BGR we now have a date but we also have a few surprises that we did not see coming! We were originally told that the AT&T Fuze would have only 256mb or RAM instead of the 288mb that is in the HTC Touch Pro. This lead some to think that AT&T had once again worked its bloat magic and sucked up 30mb in the process. So does this mean we can expect no ...
