Filed under: PC, Sony PlayStation 3, Microsoft Xbox 360, Driving That's right, the next one. As in the one after the flying cars, the toy cars and the not-actually-cars. Criterion just keeps on stuffing more content into its open-world racer, with the latest vehicular addition taking the form of the Carson Extreme Hotrod, a "stripped down, ultra low, overpowered straight line monster." You'll find it, along with another impossibly fast hunk of metal, in 2009's ...

Yesterday we published a photo revealing Justice's Gaspard to be using a MIDI controller that wasn't plugged in, and now he's responded to the allegations that the duo fake their live sets. "I couldn't remember the city but I think it was in Manchester," he said. "I didn't notice at first, because as you can see I was looking at the computer to launch the next vocal hook and right after I realised that the ...

At this point I am convinced the guys at Criterion have just gone completely batshit insane. They've introduced motorcycles into Burnout Paradise; they're introducing movie-themed cars and a party mode, and now this. Tiny little collectible cars, based on classic burnout vehicles. There will be 9 vehicles in this range in total, with the the Carson GT Concept P12, the Kreiger Racing WTR, the Hunter Takedown 4x4 and the Hunter Manhatten represented in the screenshot. ...

Pushing the boundary of copyright infringement to its limit, Criterion Games is committed to bringing customers an expansion pack complete with the "Legendary Cars" they’ve always wanted to drive. First up is the Jansen 88 Special — capable of lighting its tire tracks on fire at 88 MPH and hovering at around head height. We’ve never heard of a Jansen, so we can only assume that either Burnout Paradise players are more car savvy than ...

Criterion continues to deliver the Burnout Paradise goodness, this time with a preview of a very special vehicle coming next year as part of their new Legendary Cars series. The Jansen 88 Special is modeled after the Jansen P12, but it's received a few modifications. Once you fill up the boost gauge, trigger it and the car leaves a trail of dual flames behind it, much like a certain modified DeLorean DMC-12 does when you ...
