Naturally, the U.S. media is following the terrorist crimes in Mumbai, India, as well they should. But, the attacks seem to be the Old Media's only interest where it concerns India and Pakistan, of late, for they've completely ignored the several mistakes that Barack Obama has already made with his attempts at foreign policy with the two embattled nations. Back on November 11, I noted that Obama had made his first mistakes with both India ...Shared by wvpv (3)Contribute comment -

In Old Medialand, all it takes for a personal habit -- in this case, exercise -- to go from vice to an overhyped virtue is a change in the party affiliation of the White House occupant. Yesterday, NB's Tim Graham commented on a puff piece about the Obamas' exercise routines by Associated Press groupie -- er, reporter -- Deanna Bellandi, who characterized the couple as "fabulously fit." Several NB commenters at Graham's post pointed out ...Shared by Ric (9)Contribute comment -

Tom Brokaw: talk show host or DNC enforcer? Barack Obama and Harry Reid were willing to let bygones be bygones, letting Joe Lieberman keep his Homeland Security Committee chairmanship. But Lieberman's professed "regret" for statements he made in the course of supporting John McCain for president wasn't good enough for Brokaw. Interviewing the senator on Meet The Press today, Brokaw pointedly observed that he hadn't heard the word "apology" for Lieberman's lèse majesté. Funny thing about the rise of higher quality beer in America-- I never intended to be the kind of person who drinks expensive or sophisticated beer. (I was about to say a "beer snob," but that implies that I would look down on someone who drinks Coors Light, or whatever, which I certainly don't do. Who cares what someone else drinks?) Throughout college, I was perfectly happy drinking whatever was cheapest. A 30-pack of Icehouse ...- ubernerd83 said: I suppose every beer has its uses. Being tough, of course, has never had that much to do with winning fights, and a lot to do with losing them. Toughness is a great democratizing force; anyone can access it, provided you understand that it's much less a function of strength or victory and much more a function of endurance and defeat, of survival, physical and emotional.Getting punched in the face sucks. Now that Eric Holder is in the process of trying to graduate from Barack Obama's vice-presidential search committee to President-elect Obama's apparent nominee for Attorney General, it's a good idea to remind people of Holder's role in the Elian Gonzalez case in 2000. Well, isn't this a hoot? As Barack Obama appears to be appointing less than totally pro-surrender officials to his inner circle, far leftists are feeling constrained in their criticism by Obama Mania.
