HTC has announced the world’s first ever 4G mobile device. HTC has successfully incorporated the features of WiMAX in to the MAX 4G, a device which is said to be a Touch HD look alike. This makes Windows Mobile 6.1 the first mobile OS to be running on the 4G. What does that mean for us? The data speeds would be pretty fast. Yeah, about 70Mbps. And guess what it is slated for a late ...

A common practice in the world of cellular providers is trying to steal thunder away from competition. It happens all the time. One company comes out with the next big thing and then another company has to go and try to keep their customers from jumping ship. Such is the case with Verizon and the G1. There is no perfect handset. There are plenty that might be perfect for you, but nothing is ever likely ...

Great news for you Sprint fanboys - all thirteen of you. Your favorite carrier is quicker than any other wireless provider when it comes to answering calls into customer care. In all seriousness, this is fantastic news for the carrier. They’ve seen some pretty bad press over the last few quarters when it comes to customer service. A recent poll conducted by Pali indicates that Sprint is taking things very serious and is making positive ...

Apparently you guys out there caused a big enough stink. Either that, or T-Mobile’s customer care was inundated with calls today. No longer putting a soft cap on the 3G data transfer amounts at 1GB, T-Mobile is doing what most of the other players are. They will address transfer usage as it happens on an almost case-by-case basis. Good for them! The new fine print: “To provide the best network experience for all of our ...

The honeymoon high is starting to wear off for some as they start to look for all the things missing or that need improved. It’s no surprise to us - people do it for every device. In fact, if people aren’t picking on your device, it probably isn’t registering very well. Take a look at T-Mobile’s fine print and you might be convinced to wait out the G1 for a bit. If you are a ...
