萧克 开国上将，国防部原副部长兼军事学院院长，2008年10月24日在北京逝世，享年102岁 在外国记者笔下，中国的许多高级军事将领栩栩如生。关于萧克，有这样的描述——“一位军人学者”（美国记者尼姆·韦尔斯）；“一个善于思考、有学者风度的人”（美国记者哈里森·索尔兹伯里）；“思维如箭一般敏捷而尖锐，蕴藏着一种令人生畏的力量”（英国记者詹姆斯·贝特兰）。 萧克，湖南省嘉禾人。父亲为前清秀才，乡间绅士，家中有地六亩。萧克六岁入私塾，读“四书五经”；又读高等小学三年，继入县初级师范学校。1926年1月，萧克私借七块大洋作盘缠，孤身离家出走。适逢大雪，艰难步行九天，抵韶关，继转乘火车至广州。原拟报考黄埔军校，因错过时间，参加了蒋介石的宪兵第六十五辅助团。故多年后有云：“许多人说我是黄埔生，其实不然。”1927年5月，他在武汉叶挺的师里担任排级教官；当第二支北伐部队进入河北时，已当上连长。“在历时两个月的战斗中，我学习了《共产主义ABC》和《共产主义前景》。在这之前的三年时间里，我一直坚持读《向导》周报。”是时，萧克加入中国共产党。 1927年八一南昌起义时，萧克任七十一团二营八连指导员。起义失败后，萧克回家暂避数日，继而追寻朱德部队，未果；随即与好友在宜章组织起农民梭镖队，打土豪，分田地。1928年3月下旬，他率部由宜章出发，登五盖山，东进资兴龙溪洞，与毛泽东率领的三十一团不期而遇。“当时双方都打红旗，见面如见亲兄弟。大家闻知是毛泽东带的‘大红军’(我们农军对主力红军的尊称)，欣喜若狂，欢呼雀跃。”1944年，萧克到达延安，毛泽东忆起当年在龙溪洞会面的情景：“你们那时有多少人？多少枪？多少梭镖？”萧克一一回答。毛颇显激动，挥手向前推曰：“揭竿而起！” 萧克将军和夫人蹇先佛 1934年7月23日，时任六军团军团长的萧克接中共中央、中革军委训令：“中央书记处及中革军委决定，六军团离开现在的湘赣苏区，转移到湖南中部去发展游击战争和创立新的苏区。”8月7日，萧克奉命率部西征。他后来回忆道，从训令看，中央对六军团实施战略转移目的并未全部透露，实际上就是要六军团作为中央红军的先遣队，为红军大规模长征探路和引路。 1936年7月5日，中央军委颁布关于组织红二方面军及干部任职命令：贺龙任总指挥，任弼时任政委，萧克任副总指挥，关向应任副政委。萧克当时年仅29岁，是红军历史上最年轻的方面军领导。 萧克喜读书，用兵甚有计谋。抗日战争时期某日，其司令部驻地被包围。天将黑，日军已近一公里。萧克下令燃亮小油灯，敲响熄灯钟，然后指挥部队分成八路，迅速由缺口处突围。日军扑进村里，家家灯明，户户屋空。萧克住处桌上摆着一部《三国演义》，翻开处正是“空城计”。 1937年5月，战火纷飞中，萧克开始创作长篇小说《罗霄军》。初稿历时约两年，又四度修改，其中两次失而复得。但还未出版，即被斥为“大毒草”。将军申辩：这只是初稿。批判者称：“要的就是初稿，初稿可以反映你的灵魂。”直至1988年，方得以《浴血罗霄》名出版，轰动文坛，1991年获第三届茅盾文学奖荣誉奖。之后，将军加入中国作家协会，介绍人为夏衍。 新中国成立后，萧克先后担任军委训练部部长，训练总监部副部长、部长，解放军军政大学校长，国防部副部长兼军事学院院长、第一政委，负责军事训练教学，以治军治学严谨著称。据说，解放军正步走的规范姿势，为萧克将军亲自制定。其晚年仍能昂首挺胸，脚背绷直踢正步。1955年，萧克被授予上将军衔。1958年，萧克将军以“教条主义错误”遭到批判，降职任国务院农垦部副部长。 将军性格耿直敢言。“文革”中，毛泽东与林彪“井冈山会师”曾被广泛宣传。萧克将军默然。有人问及，则只言朱德、陈毅与毛泽东会师。旁人提醒还有林彪，将军答：“林彪参加了南昌起义，但不是起义的领导人。那时像林彪这一级干部多得很。” 萧克与胡耀邦为旧交。抗日战争中，萧任晋察冀军区副司令员，胡任属下四纵队政委。胡耀邦任党中央总书记时，有人对将军言：“耀邦是你的老下级，应该去叙叙旧。”将军对曰：“不去，不去，没什么事去干啥？”其时萧克虽与耀邦常于会议上见面，但从无单独交谈。耀邦下台后，将军始与之往，并送长篇小说《浴血罗霄》。胡耀邦赋诗回萧克：“寂寞沙场百战身，青史盛留李广名。夜度将军罗霄曲，清香伴我到天明。” 萧克古稀之年始习书法，讲究以“心正，身正，笔正，纸正”为标准姿势。离休后笔耕不辍，除主编《南昌起义》《秋收起义》，还出版了《萧克回忆录》《朱毛红军侧记》等作品。将军晚年担任中华炎黄文化研究会会长，主持《中国文化通志》《中国大百科全书》等大型著作编撰，于中国文化事业建设不遗余力。■ 作者为广州市文联专职副主席，著有《开国将军轶事》
