Thousands of packages of Lean Cuisine meals are being recalled because they may contain plastic. Nestle says its Pesto Chicken with Bow Tie Pasta, its Chicken Mediterranean, and its Chicken Tuscan could all pose problems and should not be eaten. The Food and Safety Inspection Service says at least one person has been injured by the plastic inside the meals. The Pesto Chicken comes in a 9.5 ounce package with a production code of “8280595912″ ...

What makes me angriest: that there is no outcry against election fraud; that the media have become pure political instruments; that our “educational system” has produced an ignorant electorate. Years and years ago, during Watergate, Barbara and I were living in Rome, and we had lots of journalist friends (I was then a correspondent for The New Republic, so…we saw lots of Italian journalists). They were all openly jealous of America, because they saw American ...

Hey, if they can switch from Intel integrated to Nvidia chipsets to support their Core 2 ...

Filed under: Cellphones, Handhelds Okay, look, whether you adore or despise the iPhone, it's pretty hard to make a cohesive argument that it's slow or lags its competitors in offering the "full Internet." Somehow, though, a pair of Intel execs at the Intel Developer Forum in Taipei this week have whipped up a whole spiel based on the shaky claim that the iPhone's a dog for processing power and isn't capable of offering a rich ...

This is pretty hilarious. Intel has yet to provide an x86 chip to the mobile market that doesn't suck power like a french whore. But fast on their heels is NVIDIA who are aiming to take over the mobile market with their a mobile phone GPU. The first phone to have accelerated graphics better be Android powered, that's all I have to say!

Filed under: Desktops, Gaming, Media PCs Alright, something's fishy here. When Apple announced that the new MacBook Pro has two NVIDIA GeForce chips -- the 9400M and the 9600M GT -- the focus was on what that means for battery life. Absent any mention of Hybrid SLI, we assumed that was all, but PC Mag has posted some eyebrow-raising benchmarks comparing the new MacBook Pro to HP's Pavilion HDX16t, which also features a 9600M GT. ...
