Six Pixels of Separation - Marketing and Communications Insights Blog and Podcast - By Mitch Joel at Twist Image (18) permalink
In all of the fuss to rush to Twitter or fawn over some viral videos on YouTube, there's a subtle and ever-growing audio platform that seems to have lost some its lustre in terms of public excitement, but continues to grow in terms of loyal audience. Podcasting continues to be one of the best ways to consume audio and video content. A good portion of this content is available free in places like iTunes, and ...Shared by Joe Dawson (370) Kneale Mann (28) Mike Fruchter (54) Mitch Joel (7) Rizzn (24) Saul (6) Sean (8) siansleep (2)Comment View comments -

Editors used to control the journalists and decided which words made it to which pages. Music companies used to control the musicians and decided which albums made it into the record stores. TV stations used to control the actors and decided who got to star in which programs. From luxury items to concert tickets, everything we've really known (and been successful with) in the Marketing industry was (to some extent) based on the scarcity model. ...Comment View comments -

In the olden days, the only portal for catching content was the 'tube; today, a vast array of television shows are available gratis on the web, and that's downright frightening for pay-TV operators. Today, both firms are detailing TV Everywhere in the most ...Comment View comments -

I have started an HTML5 compatibility table today. For now it only contains a test of HTML5 Storage in all desktop browsers, and a short report is in order. I also retested the DOM HTML; no changes. HTML5 Storage allows you to set some fields in what can best be described as a simple database in the browser. This allows you to retrieve such a value even when the user has closed his browser and ...Shared by 手气不错 (12) 1smash1 (8) MikeAmundsen (16) mjc (42) mrjason (26) old9 (1) rickmans (34) Shine (32) Thomas Broyer (8)Comment View comments
