With the Xbox 360’s Netflix streaming going live just days ago, Netflix has already made public plans to bring the service to more devices. Samsung’s BD-P2500 and BD-P2550 will be first to receive the free update with the LG BD300 following suite in December. The Texas Advanced Computing Center has built one of the largest tiled displays ever. They arranged 75 30inch Dell displays in a 5×15 pattern. The overall the system has 36GB of graphics memory and 108GB of system memory. They intend on using the system to display very large data sets. If you think the size seems arbitrary, it is. 支付、诚信、物流是电子商务的三个基础，但不是专利。传统商业也需要解决这三个问题，只是由于基于互联网的交易以陌生交易为主，所以，这三个问题被凸显出来，达到了相当的高度。仔细分析，这三个问题并非并列关系。支付和物流是对交易行为的描述，可以说有了支付和物流，交易行为才算发生并完成；而诚信是发生交易行为的基础，没有它，支付和物流就不可能产生，也就谈不上交易，但诚信本身无法独立，它必须融入到整个交易过程当中。所以，从这个角度来说，电子商务的三大问题可以理解为基于诚信的支付和物流两个问题。上面这些分析不是为了普及常识，而是我马上就要用到。先举个例子。听说当年王峻涛做8848，用的是自行车送货队，除了条件所限，我想有其积极意义在里面：因为送货人是网站员工（即便是外聘），同时还兼收款人的身份，这就把支付、诚信和物流三大问题一并解决了。但这不是电子商务的做法，因为电子商务要做大，需要有足够大的用户群，这就需要突破销售半径的困境。显然，自行车送货队不能满足这个条件，所以，用送外卖的方式搞电子商务物流，不可行。另外还有个问题，就是专业化程度不够，成本太大。结果是这支三位一体的队伍成为网站的负担，以致拖垮了8848。既然三位一体无法解决，把它们分开独立操作，让专业人士负责专业服务，怎样？理想的状况会是这样：支付公司只管资金流转；诚信公司为买卖双方建立详细的诚信档案；最后由物流公司负责货物的接送。而电子商务网站，只需要分别与这三家公司合作，所有问题迎刃而解。很美好，对吧？但是这种互联网共产主义不可能一蹴而就，它的发展不会是纸上谈兵般容易。我们先说物流，这块好办，因为自从有了异地交易的那天，物流行业就已然诞生，不用考证也知道至少有上千年的历史。那么支付呢？谁来做支付公司？银行吗？它把现有的资金管理好，再通过资金生资金就够忙活了，对于小额支付这种吃力不讨好的做法，它显然不会最早跳出来担纲旗手。诚信呢？先不说建立诚信档案的细致活劳神劳力，谁来为这项工作买单？所以它仍然找不到娘家。如何是好？回过头来，还是得电子商务网站自己冲破这个困境。国外的情况我不熟悉，但国内有个很好的活标本可供解剖分析：支付宝。淘宝当年上线，如果没有一个工具让买卖双方很便利地实现资金流转，基本上很难实现交易，何况是陌生交易呢。这就是支付宝诞生的最佳理由。不靠银行，靠自己。支付宝的游戏规则是第三方介入，通过这个第三方做中介，来保证交易双方的资金安全，这样，支付问题得到解决了。看上去，支付宝似乎随带把诚信问题一并解决了，其实不然，通过支付宝支付或收取资金，并不是因为信任对方，而是信任支付宝这家公司。这就是马云的高招，通过一个第三方中介，把诚信问题化为无形，很巧妙，也很实用，因为说到底，马云要的是交易，要的是一个用户工具，而不是支付本身，至于支付宝后来的跳跃式发展，那是后话了吧，我认为当初他还没有想这么远。今天太晚了，就暂且到支付这里吧。下篇说诚信和物流。 随机文章：在冬天学习电子商务 2008-11-03快速反应为哪番？ 2008-09-27百度之心，意在商务 2008-03-28龟兔赛跑——团队博客的动力 2007-12-03龟兔赛跑——蚂蚁网的不等式 2007-12-02城市摄影展： 你我之城，大同视界！BlogBus邀你一起，寻根城市文化，启程你的视界之旅！收藏到：Del.icio.us
