I remember Sunday afternoons. After church and Sunday dinner Dad would put on some classical music and read the paper. And my sister and I would read or play games. When the whether was lovely we would go hiking as a family or visit Lincoln Park Zoo. Sometimes we would go to one of Chicago’s fine museums. Winter was sledding or skiing. It was rare that anything was planned. Do you look forward to the ...Shared by MatMar (23)Contribute comment -
Berkshire Hathaway Straddles $100,000 (1)
permalinkWe're not sure if this is a big psychological level or not, but if we think it's especially noteworthy that Citi broke down through $10 then it's worth pointing out that Berkshire Hathaway fell below $100,000 for a brief time today. The last time they were there was late 2006, which is quant -- only a 2-year low for a financial? The stock ended at $102,800.Shared by db (319)

Jingles have a profound ability to attract or repel customers, and if you think that's an exaggerated claim, just ask one of the 2,250 members of the Facebook Group "Stop Playing Toyota's 'Saved by Zero' Commercial." Many of the ideas I have listed on my 10 activities for teens are great for dads and daughters. Yet, I want to add and highlight a few because this is so important. Sometime between the age of 12 and 17 there is a deep dark void that develops between dads and teen girls. I like to call it the “anti-daddy” period. Have you experienced this? For me, this lasted about two years. 1) Realize ...Shared by Dad Info (22)Contribute comment -

One of the key communications challenges for political parties is to get supporters to help them push the message in an era when people in the post-affluent age don’t really want to trudge the streets delivering leaflets. They also don’t really want to be told what to do in the purest sense. Social media is great for grouping people together who have similar passions and expertise. The Lib Dems are doing this with a Facebook ...Shared by Martin (75)Contribute comment
