Ip.Board 3.0 Adds Gravatar Support (1)

Invision Power recently announced that they’re adding native Gravatar support with the 3.0 release of their forum software, IP.Board. You can read the announcement here. That’s awesome news, and I think it’ll be a real win for all the forum posters out there. Het verbaast me niks als het woord Gravatar een negatieve associatie bij je oproept. Net als Flickr en Orkut is het een Engelse web 2.0 naam die zich niet fijn naar het Nederlands laat vertalen. Maar zet je daar even overheen, want Gravatar.com is een prachtservice om je zichtbaarheid in de blogosphere te vergroten. Хочу рассказать вам, о своём новом сервисе OpenAvatar.ru который можно использовать в место Gravatar.com. Отличие в том что посетителям вашего блога не нужно будет загружать аватары, сервис найдёт их автоматически на хабрахабре. В процессе разработки, идея была расширена и к хабрахабру добавились ещё Я.ру и livejournal.com Если у комментатора есть аватар на Gravatar.com — OpenAvatar.ru получит аватар и с него.
