IBM近日透露,他们正在开发一种容量高达4.1TB的固态硬盘阵列,而且性能比当今最快的固态硬盘方案要超出250％以上. IBM的这项工程代号“Quicksilver”,由英格兰Hursley开发实验室和加州Almaden研究中心合作进行,结合IBM自己的存储虚拟化技术,带来了超过100万IOPS的稳定输出传输性能,而且响应时间不超过1毫秒.

HP said today it has closed its $13.9 billion acquisition of Plano, Texas-based IT services provider EDS, which was first announced in May. The tablet version of Lenovo's ThinkPad X200 laptop, sensibly named the X200t, was photographed in the wild, looking pretty much like an X200 with a swiveling screen. (That means it's also awfully similar to Lenovo's last tablet, the X61t.) 感谢贝壳的投递 今日，IBM及其合作伙伴们高调宣布将会先于Intel进入22 nm工艺时代。消息称，IBM将会在2011年正式量产22 nm芯片，如果情况属实的话，这将是最近几十年来IBM首次在制程上领先于Intel。要想跟上节奏，Intel可能就不得不在研发上再多花点功夫了。
