Die Underground-Romantik vieler Street Artists geht Aakash Nihalani völlig ab. Weder arbeitet er unter einem Pseudonym, noch taped er seine kleinen 3-D-Kunstwerke in Nacht und Nebel Aktionen. Die Lifestrips von Katharina Anna Helming und Marc Seestaedt, die auf grafischen Verfremdungen von Fotografien basieren, wirken manchmal banal, wenn ihnen genau die Pointe fehlt, die man von Comcistrips erwartet. Gleichzeitig aber strahlen die in Szene gesetzten Alltagsgedanken eine Intimität aus, die zum nächsten Klick führt. Außerdem mag ich kreative Paare und den b/w-Stil der Bilder.

Dass Straßenkunst auch ohne, dank des zur Verfügung stehenden ländlichen Raums vielleicht sogar besser als mit Straßen funktioniert, hätte ich nicht vermutet.
