With Chrysler pushing out an internet-connected package of its own, Mercedes-Benz is attempting to stay one step ahead with the intelligent, intuitive myCOMMAND system. Our pals at Autoblog were able to get a bit of hands-on time with the new setup at the LA Auto Show, and they were kind enough to host up a near-5 minute video showing off its most attractive features. They reiterated that what was being taped was simply a concept ...

The bundle would include an Autonet Mobile router (branded as Uconnect Web), a Dell Mini 9, 8GB iPod ...

In wrapping up the coverage from the launch event, we thought we‘d bring you some of the thinking and reasoning passed along to us as to why the development of the phone’s series by Hutchinson began. These were outlaid to us on the day by 3’s CEO Kevin Russell and the INQ’s CEO Frank Meehan. These facts came along to us in the form of stats around the rise of data services over the 3 ...

Yesterday I found that my Dialog Mobile Broadband’s down speed has gone down to 50 KBps. Most probably I have reached the 5 GB limit. I want to check out how much I have downloaded so far, so I called the Dialog Mobile Broadband Technical support (which you can found on USB modem’s cover) and they have no idea how to find it. A guy over there told me that, I need to check it ...

Filed under: Handhelds, Laptops, WirelessBarely 24 hours after the FCC voted yes to unlicensed white space use, we've already got one powerhouse lined up in support. According to PC World, Neeraj Srivastava, director of technology policy at Dell, has stated that the company "intends to integrate white space radios into future Dell products." As for what "products" actually means? We could see the modules in anything from laptops to netbooks to "any other devices that ...

Filed under: Wireless We're relieved, here's why: we don't have to report on this on-again / off-again relationship like we're a celebrity tabloid rag anymore. Around the same time it gave the thumbs up to Verizon and Alltel, the FCC also decided that timultuous lovebirds Sprint and Clearwire can finally get hitched. Their eventual offspring will be the WiMAX network they've been promising with a bunch of other partners -- the plan is to offer ...

Filed under: Wireless You win some, you lose some -- so says FCC chairman Kevin Martin (pictured), in a roundabout way, at least. The hard-fought campaign for using the freed "white spaces" from the upcoming DTV transition in America has at long last led to victory for proponents such as Google, Microsoft and Intel, but suffice it to say, not everyone is thrilled about the decision. Essentially, the approval will allow unlicensed use of the ...

Everyone likes to be rewarded for their efforts. Course evaluators are no exception. We get asked often to look at new online courses and sometimes even get offered a login name and password to a course that other people would have to pay for. It's fun and it allows us to critique and learn from other people's courses—in particular, what to try and what to avoid. We enjoy these intrinsic rewards even when there is ...
