Until today Skyfire was only available to users in the US and Canada. With direct download and no registration I'm thinking anyone in the world should be able to use it now. The Skyfire website mentions that UK users will be connected to a new UK server ...

The great thing about extensions is that they allow you to customize your browsing experience to suit your particular needs. What it really brings to the table for the browser is an ecosystem of developers and users around it, giving it an edge which is extremely difficult to counter. This is what made it the biggest strength that Firefox had over Internet Explorer. Fennec Logo Now we’ve seen with the success of Firefox and iPhone ...

A few weeks ago, Fennec, Mozilla’s upcoming mobile browser, was released to some beta testers ...

This is the first post in a series on blog writing. These posts are based on ideas from a great little book called The Elements of Business Writing, by Gary Blake & Robert Bly. I’ve taken some of these ideas about business writing and adapted them for blogging with my own spin. There are two common writing mistakes people make that weaken their blogging: They write an unnecessary first paragraph which rambles as it tries ...

We’ve been talking about how Firefox would be coming to Windows Mobile for a while now. However, we’re just now getting our first look at the mobile browser. The browser is running on a smartphone with a touchscreen running Windows Mobile Pro, just for your reference. Looking good so far! In fact, Fennec in its final version may very well look just like this or very similar to this. All in all, we’re impressed. I ...

Filed under: Cellphones It'll be a fabulous day when a cellphone-friendly version of Firefox finally lands, and judging by the video and details in the read link down there, that day is getting ever closer. Granted, this whole thing is being dubbed a "concept" for now, but we're definitely digging where it's headed. We're warning you, there's a boatload of information just one click away, but if you fear your eyes just can't handle it, ...
