Australian researchers have developed a new fuel cell prototype that could lead to much cheaper, more efficient fuel cell vehicles in the near future. Scientists at Monash University in Melbourne created a new cathode that could bypass the need for expensive platinum nanoparticles, which adds about $3500 to $4000 to the sticker price of current fuel cells. BlogHer, the online community (and conference) for women bloggers, has entered a strategic partnership with iVillage, a subsidiary of NBC Universal and a popular website toward female viewers/readers. The agreement provides iVillage access to BlogHer’s network of 2200 member blogs, and shared promotional and advertising opportunities across BlogHer’s audience. Female blogging community BlogHer is joining forces with NBC in a powerful new partnership. The company has announced a deal with NBC Universal to feature BlogHer content on iVillage, NBC’s female-focused online service.
