If you are tired of your current laptop becoming obsolete after a few years, then it is time you joined the Laptop4Life program. This program, created by Fujitsu, allows the user to get a new laptop free every three years. In order to qualify for this three-year program, a user will have to do three things: 1) Save the receipt, which most people do out of caution anyway. Maybe a Laptop4Life member should just keep ...

R2-D2 is always a favorite character from Star Wars, so it’s no surprise to find that someone has created an R2-D2 flash drive. This one is actually doubly awesome, because it’s a LEGO R2-D2. You can’t get any better than Star Wars and LEGOs. Well this isn’t a registered LEGO product, it’s actually a handmade job. Luckily though, this isn’t an online tutorial for those of us that aren’t so great at doing things like ...

I suppose there isn’t a lot of originality in creating new gadgets these days, as some of the newest gadgets are a combination of other gadgets. Today’s interesting gadget combination is a wireless router with something completely non-technical, a flowerpot. Some of you might be thinking that this device is not really very interesting. After all, you could just buy a wireless router and not risk the water damage that could happen when you spill ...

There have been several attempts at USB jewelry, well now here is one more. This little black rose may not be anything to gush about, but it does give hope that better things could be created. It’s not horrible, now they’ve at least found something that 60 year old secretaries will wear that enjoy lots of jewelry. It is still of course a bit chunky, so if you prefer dainty pendants it’s going to be ...

Update:All; I have just returned form the 1 Air Maintenance Squadron paintbooth, where the GH gold paint has not only arrived, but our paint crew has already done some samples with it. Master Corporal Craig Harris, the Hawk One Paint Crew Chief brought two samples outside in the early dawn light so I could photo the samples and check out its chromatic properties in normal light.I am very impressed. In the first pic, Craig holds ...

I’ve just got my hands on one of the new Dell Netbooks and first impressions are very good. It is designed to be a portable Internet anywhere device, weighing in at a measly 990g and measuring 232×175x30 (that’s about 1/3 of the size of my Mac Book Pro) and includes built-in broadband, there’s a SIM slot behind the battery so no need for a protruding 3G dongle. If you’re in the UK there are couple ...
