A couple of my comic book friends have demanded I feature these photos because they look so damn good and you all deserve to see them, too. Separate from the other fake fan created Dark Knight Returns poster that we ran last week, Australian artist Josh McMahon has designed numerous mock-up versions of additional Batman characters that could appear in a third movie. Included in his designs are photos of fan favorite Kristen Bell as ...

Seen above: Caesar the Friendly Lion, Dimensions 12.5 x 9 Able a design and branding firm outside of Philadelphia just put together a great animal poster series. The lion poster has a retro feel to it and reminds me of some the children’s book illustrations seen in the late 1970s to early 1980s. You can see/ purchase the entire series at Able’s Etsy shop. Two more new international posters for the upcoming Max Payne movie have hit courtesy of IMPAwards. I'm trying not to use the term badass so much, but I just can't help it - both of these posters are badass! Mark Wahlberg sporting dual shotguns - how is that not badass?! As fantastic as these look, I'm still not completely excited for Max Payne based off of the quality of footage that I saw at Comic-Con. ...

David D’Andrea is now taking orders for handpainted versions of his OM poster. The black linework will be printed on either 300lb Fabriano watercolor paper or Crescent illustration board (your choice), then hand-colored by Mr. D’Andrea himself. There will be less than ten produced, and they will all be totally unique. These will be produced as they are ordered, and should be finished by November 1. The size is approximately 18″ x 30″, the price ...

I ♥ robots! I hope you do too because I have three robot-related things to tell you about. First, an awesome CG short film. Second, a look at the new Transformers 2 posters. Finally, some info on the upcoming Voltron movie. 1. World War World War is a short film about two 1940s era vehicles that transform into robots and battle. It takes place 100 years after WWII, Hiroshima, Japan 2045 A.D. It was made ...

The University of Washington has put a collection of Vietnam War era printed ephemera (posters, flyers, pamphlets, magazines, mostly cheap mimeographs or photocopies) online. The browsable collection ranges from Defend the Black Panthers to How to Make a Revolution in the U.S. to the Planetary Citizen Human Manifesto to plain old Do Something. The collection offers a fascinating insight into the passion, energy and graphic sensibilities of grassroots, home-front politics in late 1960s and early ...

I just got an e-mail with an interesting attachment - a poster for the sequel to The Dark Knight called The Dark Knight Returns. I'm pretty damn sure its fake, but it looks impressive, so I thought I'd put it up anyway. Not only is the Riddler not the official villain for the third movie, but a third movie hasn't even been announced! If indeed Warner Brothers has put out a poster for a movie ...

The comedian recently posted on his MySpace blog about his thoughts about the movie poster for his new film My Best Friend’s Girl. A few thoughts on this movie poster from Dane Cook: 1. ...

We haven't covered much relating to the Dane Cook film My Best Friend's Girl, which is set to release next month on the 19th. I can't speak for Alex, but I have little interest in the entire concept and cast. Cook was only okay in Mr. Brooks, though I've never found him particularly funny; Kate Hudson is drowning in lame-ass rom-coms as of late; and Jason Biggs peaked in American Pie. Put all three together ...
