I want to thank all the readers who sent me get well wishes on the blog and on Twitter. It really does mean a lot to me. Blogging from the hospital was a unique experience but it’s one I rather not do again.

John Chow didn't need surgery after all. The doctors said that he needs to change his eating habits, which is something I have said myself for a long time.Read This: I want to thank all the readers who sent me get well wishes on the blog and on Twitter. Well, it looks like I’m stuck at the Richmond Hospital for another night. The tests show gallblabber stones and the doctor wants to keep me here to run more tests tomorrow to see if I should go into surgery to have the stones remove. Whenever I do or try something new, I’ve always tried to share my experience with you so I figured this is no different. We share the good times and the bad. ...

It looks like John Chow is going to be just fine. He has gallbladder stones which by today's standards is a very low risk and correctable problem. He'll have to undergo surgery tomorrow but is in great spirits and even jokes about how he wants to figure out a way to auto tweet during the surgery.

Every now and then I run into an example, video, blog post, or article of someone sharing an idea or creating a living example as proof, that they are a Rainmaker. As president of Rainmaker, maybe I look for these examples a little harder then most. But always enjoy when I find a good one. Today, I want to share Seth Godin’s Thanksgiving post. He says: Why be generous? Why go out of your way ...

Barrack Obama’s just one Senate vote away from total control. He’ll give 12 million illegal aliens citizenship, Social Security, even driver’s licenses. Don’t believe it? Just ask him. “We need to offer those who are willing to make amends a pathway to citizenship.” And he’ll pay for it by crushing new taxes. A vote for Jim Martin is a vote for Obama’s radical agenda. Say no to Jim Martin and stop Barrack Obama. The National ...

Scary stuff, Italian police uncovered a phone gun on a raid in Naples. It holds four .22 bullets, hitting a single key fires a single bullet. On my next trip to Mafia land, I’ll be keeping an eye out when soaking up the café culture … The only thing that did strike me was the lack of style, the phone didn’t exactly match the beauty of the iPhone. Italians are renowned for sophistication, I guess ...

Here’s a picture of my neighbor, Spencer, from a few weeks ago. I think he’s about 10, a cute kid and a good marketing case study for us. If you notice in the picture – we live in a court. Translation = pretty much no car or foot traffic! While it’s great for letting kids play outside – it’s not so good for a budding lemonade tycoon. After buying 2 cups of lemonade from Spencer, ...

In my wife’s interview of me, and in her blog post about what it’s like it being an entrepreneur’s wife, she asked me about how I plan for my “golden years”. In other words, am I planning for my retirement? Do I worry about not having a pension plan or a 401(k)? Do I worry about not having a steady paycheck? In her blog post, she says: So I guess part of me does feel ...

According to the Spike Jonze, AICN interview (toldja there'd be a lot from it), Brad Pitt's character in 'Ben Button' is totally CGI throughout the first half of the film."[The character in the first hour of 'The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button' is] created in post[-production], basically, with Brad [Pitt] inspiring it. [David] Fincher totally invented his own technique, and it’s insane. Like whenever you hear there’s a CG character, I’m always a little skeptical, ...
