Google Chrome (ver0.2.149.27) 页面渲染引擎:WebKit/525.13(Safari 3.1.2使用WebKit/525.21) 图像渲染引擎:Skia(Google自行开发,还缺乏部分功能,例如text-shadow和border-radius)2) Javascript引擎:V8(Google自行研发,适合运行结构性强的JS代码) 3) FF,IE,Opera和Safari的支持者,看清楚对手的嘴脸了吗? (more…)

Tarayıcı pazarındaki durumu gösteren bilgiler, Get Clicky tarafından şuradaki sayfada sürekli güncelleniyor.

As promised yesterday, I did the JS benchmarks again on a Windows machine so I could include Google Chrome. I tried to be pretty inclusive, adding in IE7, IE8 beta 2, Firefox 3.0.1 (current release), Firefox 3.1 with and without JIT, Safari 3.1 (current release), Safari 4 beta, Opera 9.5 and Chrome. This was all run on my workstation, a 4-core, 3.2 GHz box with 8 GB of RAM. Any add-ons, extensions were disabled. Here ...

Filed under: Terminal TipsAre you tired of not being able to see all of your browsing history in Safari? Well, with this Terminal hack, you can easily change how many items (or how many days) Safari shows in the History menu. To do this, just open Terminal (/Applications/Utilities/Terminal) and type in one of the following commands: Limit to number of items: defaults write com.apple.Safari WebKitHistoryItemLimit 2000 Limit to number of days: defaults write com.apple.Safari WebKitHistoryAgeInDaysLimit ...

You’ll probably want to hold onto something, because this news might shake you! According to the latest survey data by Net Applications, Safari has hit a new high of 6.37% market share. This is only logical, of course—more Mac sales mean more people treading over to the light side and more people clicking on that blue compass. But ask me what it stole these extra market share points from? Why, thanks for asking! Safari’s market ...

We've posted our first impressions of Google Chrome, and after extended use most of them have held up. Chrome is fast, feature-rich and stable, not to mention highly usable. But Google's in-house innovations (the multi-threaded engine, Javascript handling and task manager, mainly) make up a tiny portion of the user experience. The rest of the interface features, usage mechanics and touted features have clear and very public parentage—in one of Chrome's four largest competitors. Now, ...

Nobody at Webmonkey expected to wake up and experience an internet game change today, but with Google’s semi-accidental launch of the Chrome browser Sunday, that’s exactly what we got. We barely had enough time to clean up the coffee spittle on our monitors. It started with a very candid and thoughtful comic. It used drawn characters of Chrome designers to eloquently describe the browser’s inner workings. If it wasn’t in comic form, it would read ...

Google shook up the Internet earlier today with an announcement of their own browser to be called Google Chrome (announced via a cartoon). While the browser is not yet available for download, there has been some basic information released: The rendering engine will be WebKit, which is the same engine as Apple’s Safari and originally descended from the Linux KDE Project’s Konqueror browser. It is interested to note that Google is snubbing Mozilla’s Gecko considering ...

Over the last six months or so, I’ve become extremely frustrated with Internet browsers. Slow, clunky, and prone to memory leaks, they become increasingly unreliable the more you use them, and that’s not right. Increasing problems with Firefox 3 led me to adopt the faster Safari on my Windows machine– ridiculous-sounding, I know, but istill the best option. Of course, working with a primarily Mac-based browser within Windows leads to a variety of other issues, ...

Filed under: Windows, Google, Freeware, Open Source, Beta, BrowsersGoogle Chrome, the browser from Google that pundits everywhere have been speculating about for years has finally arrived, at least in beta form. So what is it like? Pretty much exactly what you'd expect from Google: it's a browser, but simplified. Google chose to use the open-source WebKit browser as the basis for Chrome. Strangely, only a Windows version of Chrome is currently available, even though WebKit ...
