I thought I was done. Really I did. Obama won. Bush is almost gone. I was ready to sit back and enjoy the ride. Damn it to hell. She’s back. One day she’s standing in front of a dying turkey talking about how she needs to get back to the business of running Alaska and the next day she’s making plans to head on down to Georgia to campaign for that devil, Chambliss. You see ...

Alan Colmes, the other half of Hannity & Colmes is leaving the show. His primary purpose on the show seemed to be to provide at least a few seconds here and there where Hannity was not actually talking. Which, you have to admit, is something. According to Huffpost, he will stay at the network as a "liberal commentator" (that's right -- apparently he's a liberal). He's also going to develop a weekend program, so remember ...

Download | Play Download | Play [h/t Dave] Dick "Suck On The Toe" Morris is always good for a low mordant chortle or two, especially when he gets called out for shilling a group he has a financial relationship with. Because Morris hasn't the good sense enough to stop at that point. So there he was yesterday on Fox's Hannity and Colmes, doing it yet again -- on the very day he was called out: ...

Back in 1996, cable news was still innocent, and even an evil Republican genius like Roger Ailes had to make a pretense of political objectivity. So Fox News Channel was careful to seek a token "Liberal To Be Determined" to balance Sean Hannity when the conservative pundit helped anchor the network's debut. These days CNN, MSNBC and Fox all carry unabashedly slanted shows on their lineups, so Fox apparently feels no compunction about giving Hannity ...

Medical experts and physicians agreed yesterday that FoxNoise host Sean Hannity will face no danger at the end of the year when he undergoes surgery that will remove a vestigial organ from his rump. The vestigial organ, nicknamed ”Alan Colmes” by FoxNoise executives, has apparently been attached to Hannity’s posterior for the past 12 years, though evidently it caused him no discomfort as he taped his Hannity and Colmes broadcasts for FoxNoise. A physician likened ...

Alan Colmes, television's most beloved representative of the liberal Lizard People, has finally decided to leave the Hannity and Ineffectual Lizard Person show behind. Colmes will abandon his longtime partner Sean Hannity, who probably won't notice that he's just bullying a mop in a suit now, and develop his own weekend show. Maybe on the weekend show he'll invite a rotating series of louder, more charismatic alpha conservatives to shout him down or ignore him ...

As originally published in The New Republican Click here to discuss On Election Night, a Democrat, in his late 40s, wins the Presidency. His party wins majorities in the House and Senate. Conservatism is thought dead. Political pundits predict that the Republicans will need to wait a long while before vying for the Presidency again. President Bill Clinton was this Democrat in 1992. In 2008, Barack Obama followed suit. Although much speculation surrounds the next ...

Hmm. It appears as though this is happening next summer. Should we see Sean Hannity’s Bill Ray Cyrus brood over an extended version of “Achy Breaky Heart,” or shall we instead go with Sean Hannity’s Oliver North, who will… sell weapons to us? In musical form? What? [Freedom Concerts '09]

In what can only be described as delusional, Los Angeles Times writer James Rainey attempted to castigate the right wing media as a bitter and resentful group of shameless journalists - attributes that can only describe the liberal media's behavior for at least eight years now. The title itself, ‘Right-wing media feeds its post-election anger,' demonstrates that Rainey will not be pulling any punches with his article. But why is he focusing on the reaction ...

It is hard to imagine now that four years ago George Bush was reelected in the midst of a climate of fear and suspicion. Democrats were on the defensive, the long term relevancy of their party being questioned by the media. Today’s election may render the Republicans a minority party, completely out of tune with the mood of the country. What happened? The easy answer would be to say “Iraq and Lehman Bros.”. Those two ...

The 20+ person Swedish band managed to fit everyone into the studio to record a follow-up to Let Me Introduce My Friends. It's called "Who Killed Harry Houdini?" and comes out 10/14 on Mute. Until then, SPIN has one of its tracks "Paper Planes" streaming. Decent, but would've been cooler if it was an M.I.A. cover.
