Windows CE is the core upon which many personal navigation devices (PND) and Windows Mobile are built upon, much in the same way that Nokia builds its S60 interface on top of the Symbian OS core. It looks like the controversial Meizu M8, based upon the Windows CE core and not Windows Mobile, may be bringing multi-touch closer to reality on a non-Apple device. Rumors have abounded that Amazon has been poised to release a new version of the Kindle. Amazon is reported squelching such rumors by saying a new version wifi enabled e-book reader are unfounded.
