tr.im is the latest in a fairly substantial list of services which offer to shorten your links to make them more compatible with microblogging sites like Twitter. Particularly useful for marketing professionals to see whether it was their link which ...

The case example would be how it’s used in YouTube to hide a rick roll. But a more reflective use would be to incite curiosity for readers to click on the link since ...

The constellations visible in the northern hemisphere, including the twelve signs of the Zodiac, owe their names to the Babylonians and the Greeks. Only during the last few hundred years did European explorers travel far south enough to observe the constellations in the southern hemisphere. These often carry more ‘modern’ names, such as Telescopium, Microscopium and Octans. The discovery and naming of nebulae (i.e. interstellar clouds of star-forming matter) is similarly recent, and some also ...

Design is everywhere, and it is used to send messages or to promote ideas. Even Barack Obama is using design in his campaign. He has gathered quite a following of designers and deign works. Here are some great pieces done supporting Obama. Emo for Obama! I love this one. It’s very creative and it sends an interesting message. 2.0 Very clever! 08AMA Great typography and very thoughtful.
