“I’m an honest person and have always thought of myself as having integrity. I mean, relatively speaking. I mean I’m not honest all the time and sometimes I veer from my values and beliefs; but compared to some other people I know, I have much more integrity.” Ah! herein lies the core of today’s post. My quote is a story I tell myself to rationalize my shortcomings in the area of integrity and honesty. The ...

It’s been eight years since Ubisoft’s Tom Clancy franchise has launched a new title and today the World War III RTS EndWar is available for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The neat thing about this game is that you can play by just barking out orders into your headset. It’s kind of the ultimate lazy gamer’s game. Hit the jump to watch the FragDolls in case you’ve never seen this title in action.

The PlayStation 3 gets just a few exclusive games this month amidst a flood of cross-platform titles, but those exclusives are all excellent titles on the system. The headliner this month is definitely going to be Resistance 2 (IGN: “Incredible” 9.5) with a strong single-player, separate 8-man co-op, and a dizzying 60-person online competitive multiplayer option. Also coming this month is something pretty rare on the PS3 these days, an RPG in the form of ...

What does the sun smell like? This seemingly insoluble question faced Brisbane artists David Haines and Joyce Hinterding, as they developed their new art installation Earthstar, which promised you would "see, hear and smell the sun." Seeing and hearing was no problem: They married time-lapse photography, using special filters, with a recording of radio signals from the sun, from a special antenna. But smelling? They went with two options at two different "smell stations": a ...

Politico's Jonathan Martin, wrote a must-read story about the many, many smear e-mails "story suggestions" they receive and, for one reason or another, choose to not cover. Unfortunately, he made a mistake in the first published draft, which he was forced to correct. After fixing the copy, he added this hilarious correction.CORRECTION: An earlier version of this story conflated two non-existent audio tapes of Michelle Obama.Beautiful, that.
