I've switched from shuffling around the condo in my flip-flops to shuffling around in extra-thick socks. I can't go outside without a jacket, a hat, and a pair of warmies. When I was a kid I was totally terrified of boogeyman monsters in my closet and under the bed, and now as an adult if I watch Dexter or True Blood too late in the day I have a hard time getting to sleep that night.
