As a long-time gamer, and a fan of Sagat’s freakish tallness, I’m happy to tell you guys about Street Fighter II: Championship Edition for BlackBerry. All of the bosses are playable, including M. Bison, Vega, and Balrog. I’d be interested in seeing how the controls work, considering how much easier doing a quarter-circle turn would be on a trackball rather than D-pad. Head on over to Handango to pick up Street Fighter II for $9.99. ...

I have not had a chance to try this one out myself so take this at face value. Slifter just released a BlackBerry application with a pretty interesting feature set. It helps you find products and deals based on your current location. You can just search for a product and find a promo or deal. It also seems to be a great tool for doing some comparison shopping if you want to see the going ...

“Look at this,” Kris said yesterday when she returned from grocery shopping. She held up two yogurt containers for me to see. “So what?” I said. “Black cherry yogurt.” “Look closer,” she said. “That one’s smaller,” I said. “Did they change the container size?” “Yes,” she said. “But they didn’t change the price.” The incredible shrinking yogurt I’ve received several e-mails lately from readers noting the same thing. They go to buy a product they’ve ...

This week, the Senate passed a housing bill a little over a week ago (the House joined last Wednesday) that seeks to give the housing market a shot in the arm. With 1 in every 171 homes going into foreclosure, the cries for help are getting loud and loud and, with the next year’s deficit nearing half a trillion dollars, we might as well pile it on. What’s another few hundred billion? Personally, I don’t ...

Here’s a video of a dinosaur on the loose inside LA’s Museum of Natural History. No folks, this isn’t some CGI animation, it’s a real dinosaur suit being manipulated by someone. Wish something like this would happen here in Montreal so I could bring my kids and see the wonder upon their faces!
