Two years ago, Matt Blesso, a real estate developer, bought a 3,100 sq ft apartment in lower Manhattan. He dreamed of an apartment with beautiful rooftop gardens, and wanted to be surrounded by nature even in the heart of the city. Not having much of a green thumb as a real estate mogul, he turned his apartment over to two Yale professors. The duo was comprised of Joel Sanders, the architect, and Diana Balmori, the ...Shared by Amey (51) Arijit Das (401) CannonGod (139) Carol (110) chris (272) Eli (43) Kathy (78) odeb (27) Ritu (477) Shawn (20) Sun Tzu (553) Zak M. Well-known and influential photojournalist James Nachtwey won the TED Prize last year, and as part of his award, he made a wish for help - help in bringing a story to light that he felt was important and underreported. The subject of this story is a new, dangerous type of tuberculosis called Extreme Drug-Resistant Tuberculosis, or XDR-TB. Tubercolisis is both preventable and curable, but inadequate treatment has been driving the emergence of XDR-TB, especially in ...Shared by Arvin (28) B.M. Thanks for the great topic suggestion, Son of Grok. It is interesting that as we rid our body of waste, we seem to do the same for the planet. Funny how that works out. The reduction of artificial wastes and packaging materials is probably the most tangible benefit to the environment, but following the Primal Blueprint to a tee can be incredibly green-conscious in many other ways. Fifty things every great comics collection needs. Because comic books are read in a way that we invest a lot of ourselves in the telling, because they're visual in nature, and because for generations they were among the only art forms available for a child to easily own, they can be powerful nostalgic items. It's always great to have a few comics around that you either remember reading or simply recall wanting more than anything ...Shared by Sam (32) Shawn (20)Contribute comment -

Furthermore, the idea of adhering to a fixed agenda discouraged us from tours in the past. As we prepared ...Shared by Shawn (20)Contribute comment -
