Cats always think they have some kin dof special privledges just because it's Caturday. They think they can sleep in the dryer, eat at the dinner table, indulge in boxes—the list goes on. Amazon's Kindle 2 in the wild? - Engadget (23)

Filed under: Handhelds So much for Amazon's attempts to quell Kindle 2 rumors, eh? Talk of a replacement (or a pair of replacements) for Amazon's popular -- but very oddly-styled -- e-reader has been in the mix seemingly since the first model started shipping, and Boy Genius Report has scored shots of something that certainly looks like it could be in the legitimate pipeline. The revised device appears to address complaints over the original's look ...Shared by Aaron R (132) AgentMunroe (5) Ben (22) Bo Stern (21) Chris K (51) Chris White (8) JonMoss-theappleofmyi (94) Juan Diego (55) Justin (29) Kevin (36) Lloyd Doppler (22) MajorNelsonJR (3) Mick (45) OcellNuri (26) Pat (18) Patrick Thornton (19) richhand (34) RJO (42) shark (29) Ted (17) Thai (5) Tim (58) trinkers (15)Explore read four notes- Justin said: Granted I've never seen one in person, but based on these pics I think I like the original design better. VP Debates, Rickrolled [Presidential Debates] (33)

Chris Matthews and the CNBC crew did their best to report last night's vice presidential debate between Biden and Palin, but it appears that a rogue squadron of mavericks was able to sneak into the shot with a VP write-in of their own. I can't speak for anyone else here, but if an internet meme gets elected to office, I'm so moving to Canada—for real this time. Netflix Watch Instantly Streaming for Macs By Year's End [NetFlix] (7)

Gizmodo (5644) permalink
Almost two years after launching and spreading from PCs to set-top boxes and consoles, Netflix's Watch Instantly streaming service is finally coming to Macs. In a post on its official blog, Netflix promises Mac users that "we’ll have something for you by the end of the year." We're taking that to mean the service (meaning they've come up with a new non-Windows DRM scheme), and not just a really funny Christmas card, though I do ...Contribute comment -

A man robbed an armored car outside a Monroe, Washington bank and used a dozen unwitting accomplices to act as decoys during his getaway. From King5.com: "I came across the ad that was for a prevailing wage job for $28.50 an hour," said Mike, who saw a Craigslist ad last week looking for workers for a road maintenance project in Monroe. ...Shared by Alex (115) Alex (20) Alex C (41) ambuj (2) Andrew Ferguson (21) Ben (22) brokekid (189) Can Özmen (28) chimeric (22) Chris (39) Clint Ecker (105) Crutcher D (24) Dan (30) Derek (20) Donnie Berkholz (19) Dropkick (24) Dylan Bennett (27) Fuzzyman (19) Gene Locklin (46) Ian (20) jake (21) James and Tom (30) Jared (6) Jason (20) Jeffrey (20) Jérôme Flipo (7) Jim (78) Jon (28) Jonathan (20) Justin D (24) Linkletter (20) Mark (35) Mashable (9) Matias Attwell (2) Mike (20) Mike (18) Ortelius (52) perry (18) phrakture (21) Preeti Desai (24) Rick Klau (107) Ross (24) Russ (19) Ryan Grove (12) Sage (18) sc (16) Scott Rollins (43) Sean O (8) seanness (22) Steven (204) steyblind (15) Tanath (81) Tim (16) trinkers (15) Wolfger (23)Explore read 10 notes- Mashable said: Hilariously absurd.
