Introduced in the form of a comic by Scott McCloud. Based on WebKit, not Gecko. Find Who Has Access to Your Gmail Account (21)

After years of testing, Gmail has finally added a very useful security feature: tracking open sessions. If you log in to Gmail from more than one computer and you forget to sign out, you'll be able to see the list of locations where your account can still be accessed. Until now, the only solution when you forgot to log out from Gmail after using a public computer was to change your password. Otherwise, anyone could ...Shared by Carlos Pinto (5) Dale (1) Dave C (4) druqbar (5) einstein (9) Fredrik Wennberg (3) Gergő (10) Ian (14) igormoreno (13) Jeremy Hylton (7) John Ager (4) Jonna (8) Lescoste (0) maqchang (18) Parag (13) senpi (2) sooraj (0) talataydın (14) vanerj (5) Will Brown (3) Wind (6)Contribute comment -

iTunes is Anti-Web (14)

Ever find yourself clicking on links to music or videos and getting blasted in the face with this delightful little number? That's right -- links to any sort of music, TV shows, movies, podcasts, audiobooks or anything else available through Apple's iTunes store requires custom software to be installed on your computer before they will display thing one to you. Is it so unreasonable to expect links in your browser to resolve to, oh, I ...Shared by Alex (6) ChrisOfSpades (13) Dylan Bennett (7) Gavin Rehkemper (12) Ian (14) kev (12) Michael D (11) Mike (3) Nathan (0) Nick (9) Ralph (4) Ryan (1) Tapsa (17) Vlado Handziski (1)- Michael D said: iTunes is another browser - and the most successful / profitable one.

Back on the 1st of June, I mentioned and shared a new KMLd collection by Webcams.travel showing 4500 web cams around the world as placemarks in Google Earth. This morning, I noticed the layer has been incorporated into Google Earth. You'll see it in the Geographic Web->Preview layer. Or, you can look for it under Gallery->Webcams.travel. Open up the oval-shaped placemarks to see the current webcam view for that location. See the example in the ...Shared by Four Eyed Technologist (12) Ian (14)Contribute comment -

If you’re not familiar with Songbird then here’s an article by Mark from a few months back in case you missed it. I vaguely remember trying Songbird years ago and soon gave up due to it being hopelessly slow and buggy, but considering it’s still only in alpha (0.6.2) I can understand. After reading Mark’s article I was motivated to try it out again. I discovered huge improvements and while there are still performance issues, ...Shared by Attila Nóbik (2) Ian (14)Contribute comment -
