Whenever we release a product in beta as we just did with Google Chrome, we can always count on our users to come up with ways to improve it. This week's example: several eagle-eyed users and bloggers have expressed concern that Section 11 of Google Chrome's terms of service attempts to give us rights to any user-generated content "submitted, posted or displayed on or through" the browser. You'll notice if you look at our other products ...Shared by Adam Dempsey (13) AfroWhitey (8) AidA (82) Alan Root (21) Alexandar (8) alphakamp (22) andré.friedrichs (57) Andrew Girdwood (33) Aneel (17) baardoa (29) badpazzword (20) Benjamin Golub (18) Bob Caswell (15) Bonstio (11) Brian Landau (20) C.K. Google cofounder on no Chrome for Macs: "It's embarrassing" (1)
permalinkAfter this press conference to announce Google's new Web browser, Chrome, Google cofounder Sergey Brin asked BoomTown's Kara Swisher if she'd try it out. "But you don't have a Mac version, baby, so no," Swisher tells him in this clip, excerpted from Swisher's longer interview. "I know, I know, it's embarrassing," says Brin. "When is that coming out?" Swisher asks. Brin, perhaps regretting taking questions from such a mean lesbian, looks over his shoulder for ...Shared by TOMHTML (21)

Forget the klutzy announcement-by-comic-book of Google Chrome, Google's new Web browser — this thing was the worst-kept secret in the Valley and beyond. Joshua Schachter notes that Alberto Lumbreras, an R&D engineer at Telefonica, Twittered about Google Chrome in July — but no one noticed because he called it a "navegador" instead of a "browser." The news made it to China late last month. And the head of PR for Google's Android project spilled the ...Contribute comment -
