Spore Gets 14'' by 6'' Billboard, Requires Telescope To See (112)

Go tiny or go home. That's the Spore marketing philosophy apparently, as the folks from EA have installed what is probably the world's daintiest billboard in San Francisco's Union Square. At just 14" by 6", the Spore billboard requires a telescope to see. Fortunately, EA has installed said telescope and aimed it directly at the wee Spore advertisement, giving passersby a chance to enjoy some smartly conceived marketing. If you happen to be in the ...Shared by Adam (39) adam (1061) Adam Coomes (1) Adam McDonald (30) Adrian Figueroa (2) Aislinn (129) Akeem Williams (12) AKs (255) Alex Dumitru (334) Alex Robar (17) Alexander13 (467) ameo (226) Ananya Walia (769) Andrew Ruess (121) Andrew Sims (7) Arnold (12) Ash Laws (10) AshTR (25) Avi (752) Ben (34) bittin (210) Brendon Wadey (34) Brian Enigma (4) Brian Schwartz (13) Bryan Webster (24) Charli Wag (31) chris (493) Clay Carson (12) Cody Carreras (13) Corbin (23) Cubby Brendle (15) Dave (8) Dave (29) Dave Gonzales (9) David Machiavello (32) Dennis Gonzales (18) dffrnt (27) docbaily (39) Donato (3) Doug Adams (128) Doug Funny (68) downbeat (37) Dylan Thomas (53) Elvis (19) Eric Chen (121) Eric Portelance (4) Fang (15) GilesVG (19) hikikomori (68) Jacob Bowser (14) James McQuillan (16) Jamie McGibbon (85) Jason (13) Jay Bandoy (48) Jennifer Abe (19) Jking243 (5) joe sokoloski (4) Joel (5) Joey Doyle (14) Joey Foxenberger (19) John (5) John Pastor (1) John Storer II (46) Jordan (411) Jordan Calhoun (8) Jorge (30) Josh (8) Kabren Levinson (27) Kevin Federline (308) Loren (21) Luke (28) Marcelo Ávalos (3) Mark Raymond (24) Martin Eberhardt (10) Matt (26) Michel (5) Mike Nayyar (199) Nicholas (10) Nicholas Mercer (9) Nick (10) Norman Hammer (11) omigod.net (18) Pat (6) Patrick (120) Peter Liesenfeld (3) Philip Campbell (88) Philippe Iujvidin (13) prattmic (15) ProfVegas (181) richard (42) richtannehill (33) Ritu (686) rmg7344 (18) ryan.capote (100) RyneNelson (283) Sarah Stow (8) Sean (16) Tabby (1) Thomas Acreon (27) Timothy (445) tobsterius (39) Todd (4) Tuneguru (7) Tyler (3) Tyler McIntyre (11) Vanguard (25) w0lfh0und (697) will (48) Will Brown (4) William Brawley (12) yakobusan (47) Zak M. 'Disaster Movie' Voted Worst Movie of All Time (56)
on
/Film (355) permalink
Disaster Movie has been voted the worst movie of all time by the users of the Internet Movie Database. The film is currently getting a 1.3 out of 10 rating with 4,066 votes. Earlier this year, Paris Hilton’s The Hottie and the Nottie hit the dreaded #1 spot after only one week of release (the film currently sits at #14). Unlike the Top 250, IMDb’s bottom 100 is always in flux, probably because the amount ...Shared by Adam (4) Adam Maldonado (155) Adam Underwood (11) Alexander13 (467) Anas (16) Andrew Hughes (32) arshad (41) Babychen Mathew (360) Benjamin (1149) BobTheCorkDwarf (5) Brian (90) brianh431 (25) Chabarred (53) Charles (36) Chetan Thaker (41) Chris Wilson (17) Daniel Matthews (21) Darren (7) Darren Isbrecht (77) Darth Guru (105) Doug Adams (128) Dragos Pirvu (684) Eric Chen (121) Erwin Tang Yew Hon (58) Felix Bredoteau (56) G Code (12) George Syson (15) Gio (14) guy (626) Guy (789) Jacob (17) Joel (38) Jorge Wagner (10) Justin Coleman (3) Krazy (149) lewisbostock (27) Matt Lopez (110) mattlopez (95) Mikael Johansson (22) Mike Grybos (30) Neil Vallon (39) Nick (10) Paddy (7) Patrick (120) Reg Saddler (Zaibatsu) (249) Remco B. 8+ Hour iPhone Sync Timelapse Video (AKA Be Thankful For Your "Short" Two Hour Sync) [IPhone] (75)

When I complained on Twitter about a 2 hour iPhone sync, Giz reader Brandon Lusk told me I was lucky. He had a much longer sync, sometimes over 6 hours. I called bullshit. And so, he provided me with two videos, time-lapsed; this one is over 8 hours. That's a full night of sleep. That's a full day of high school. Good Riddance To Albums (13)

One of my fondest memories as a kid was saving up my money and making trip to the record store where I would spend what seemed like hours going through the LP bins. Finally I would narrow down my selection to what money I had in my pocket. Sometimes I would be able to get only one album, maybe two or on those rare occasions when there was a sale going on I’d get more. ...Shared by Benedict Lee Zhi En (229) Courtney (26) dasmart (19) deusdiabolus (95) Eric (7) Joe (106) Mr. BabyMan (373) Nick (10) Perry (11) q burns abstract message (5) Scott Schnaars (2) Tibor (41) windy (25)- Nick said: "While some big bands have shown that it is still possible to produce quality CDs that is meant to be listened to as a whole and that people will buy them the majority of musicians still only produce one or two good songs per CD." Don't listen to those crappy artists then? Still full album or nothing for me.
- dasmart said: I lament the death of the album. I'm not denying it that its happening, I just wish it werent. When I was first appreciating music, I really connected with the idea that the album was a body of work to be considered as a whole. Sure, maybe there were a few singles in there, but I always try to think of the whole set of tracks when considering an artists releases. I mean, PYT off of Michael Jacksons Thriller? I'll Wait off of Van Halen 1984? Huge songs that were never really singles.
