Carbon-neutral Ziggurat pyramid could house 1.1 million in Dubai (30)

Engadget (2925) permalink
Filed under: Misc. Gadgets As we learned from Wall-E, people with half a mind for themselves probably won't be kosher with living with 1.1 million or so other inhabitants within a pyramid. That being said, there's always the brainwash approach to getting 'em in there, and if hordes of people were ever filed into the conceptual Ziggurat, Mother Earth would surely appreciate it. The 2.3-square kilometer building would be able to house over 1 million ...Shared by alphakamp (22) Ash (4) azlon (5) Bradford (1) Brian (1) Brian (26) Bryan (24) Cal (0) chbm (5) darkeye11547 (247) Derek (5) dk (18) ghosttie (35) happenchance (3) Info Glutton (0) Jeff Daly (42) Jilted (9) Joewxboy (5) Keef (0) Krishna (2) Melkir (15) Muz (2) Nathan (35) newmediologo (2) rezar (21) rsgalloway (12) Ru> (15) StevieB (71) the Baron of Bore (5) Tim (2)Contribute comment -

Filed under: Industry, Stargate, Cancellations, Reality-FreeWell, this is just all kinds of disappointing, and a little surprising. Season five of Stargate Atlantis will be the end of its run on Sci Fi. That's a surprising bit of news considering that ratings are actually up for season five, compared to season four. Unfortunately, the economics of making the show are catching up with it. As the show goes beyond season five, salaries go up, and the ...Shared by Andrew Ruess (117) Cal (0) kebernet (78) norti (37) Program Witch (20) Sebastian Herp (0) usrbingeek (4) Vanguard (23)Contribute comment -

CNBC reports that Netflix' shipping systems have been at least partially broken since Tuesday.
