Over the weekend, a number of bloggers and the New York Times rose to defend what they termed as a number of bloggers and podcasters who were arrested in Minneapolis. Twitter today stealthily announced that the vestigal feature in the developer API that allowed for threading of conversations had been turned on. Jesse Stay had the eagle eyes that spotted the message on Twitter’s developer’s mailing list, and guest blogged it over at LouisGray.com: I’m happy to announce a minor change to the API that should have a major impact on the Twitter community.
