Corsaire Publishes Security Mac OS X Leopard Whitepaper (3)
on The Apple Blog (360) permalinkThe UK security consulting firm Corsaire has just published a new whitepaper on securing Mac OS X Leopard (you may remember them from their similar Tiger whitepaper). Written by Corsaire’s head of training – Daniel Cuthbert (whom you may remember as being in a fairly public and silly court case a few years back and may also recognize as one of the founding members of OWASP) – the 54-page guide expands upon Apple’s own Mac ...Contribute comment

SimpleBits ~ Use the Best Available Ampersand (43)
on SimpleBits (218) permalinkI love ampersands. And interest in this quirky character seems to be on the rise as of late. Case in point: Just last week, I purchased not one, but two t-shirts adorned with nothing more than an ampersand. That's telling, no? For much of last year, I had a little portion of a presentation dedicated to using CSS to serve up alternate, compelling ampersands. Playing the Money Game (11)
on Steve Pavlina's Personal Development Blog (259) permalinkIt’s amazing how much time and energy people waste stressing over money, reacting to financial setbacks as if money is life itself. For my son Kyle’s 5th birthday earlier this month, he received the board game Trouble as one of his gifts. Our family has played this game together several times so far — we often play ...Shared by AlexK (38) blackunicorn (38) Derek Ralston (31) Dick (30) John (19) Jonathan (14) Paul (9) Paulo (45) Philip (21) Robert (81) Simon (24)Contribute comment

Solo Freelancers With Agency-Level Effectiveness? Here’s How (5)
on FreelanceSwitch - The Freelance Blog (705) permalinkRecently, one of my friends asked me how I handle scheduling, getting content first and getting it on-time.
