Obviously, if you love iTunes but do not own an iPhone, syncing your music can be frustrating. Salling Software has developed a solution to this problem with Media Sync—an app that transfers playlists, music and podcasts to a wide array of Nokia, Sony, and Sony Ericsson phones (also works in a limited fashion with the HTC Touch Diamond). The basic Windows / Mac software is free, but you will have to shell out $22 for ...Shared by looprock (15) ppalli (24)Contribute comment -
Google's "Search Options" Prototype (7)

One of the prototype search results Google is currently testing shows a “Search options” link in the blue results bar. When you click it, a navigation bar expands to the left side, promising to limit results to pages created “anytime”, “past 24 hours”, “past week” and so on. There are also a couple of alternative result views to enable; “longer text”, “dates and places”, “images from the page”, and “publication date”. “Longer text” shows snippets ...- Jigar Mehta said: Love it!

The internet is atwitter with Google Chrome's innovative new features, but there was no clear winner in our speed test comparing Firefox and Chrome—which means your choice of browser may depend solely on features. Apart from a few specific issues (namely process management), many of Chrome's best features are already available in Firefox 3, proving yet again the power of extensibility. Serious Security Flaw in Google Chrome (130)

Google Chrome has quickly become one of our favorite browsers here at RWW, but, as Ryan Narraine, a security evangelist at Kaspersky Lab, reports, Chrome has also inherited a potentially serious security flaw from the old version of WebKit it is based on. Google Chrome has been released and you can now finally try it. Developed in the past two years, the browser is barely noticeable after you open it.
