Filed under: Analysis / Opinion, iPhone Contrary to other analysts' rosy comments about Apple's supply chain, Gene Munster from Piper Jaffray is estimating that shortages in the supply of iPhone 3G handsets will last until mid-August. Munster said that he'd wager "we'll see problems for another two to four weeks," adding, "early demand has been more than [Apple] expected." Apple's own supply-checking tool reports that a little over a quarter of Apple Stores had iPhone ...

When somebody says to me that they’ve got a new radio controlled vehicle for me to look at, I usually think of cars, trucks, helicopters or maybe even a tank. The last thing to pop into my mind is someone’s grandma strapped to a wheelchair. But what’s to say that I’ve always gotta be right? Stunt Granny is a remote-controlled little old lady, strapped to a miniature motorized wheelchair. (You’ve gotta love the flame job ...

In America, baseball is called the national pastime. Organized baseball was well into its glory years before other sports such as football, basketball, hockey and soccer were drawing much of an audience. It is only natural that one of America's most popular sing-along songs relates to the sport.'Take Me Out to the Ball Game' is a simple tune that tells of a girl who wants her beau to take her to a baseball game instead ...

At first, the store will actually be held within RCS Computer Experience at 575 Madison Ave. and E. 56th Street (on the second floor, just opposite the escalator), but if ...

Lasagna Cat is a project created by the folks at Fatal Farm, in which they act out Garfield comic strips. As you can see in this video, Jim Davis' work doesn't really translate well. (Maybe that's why those live-action movies sucked butt so bad?) Anyway, Lasagna Cat is just about the most awesome thing I've seen in a long time, and got hooked this weekend watching like every video of theirs. I suggest you do ...

Filed under: iPhone, App StoreIt seems like only yesterday I was writing about Exposure, the iPhone native Flickr browser, in a rather circumspect manner. Now that the App Store is out I took Exposure (available in a free version and a premium version) for a spin and I really liked what I saw. Before we go any further I should point out that I love browsing Flickr and have always found Flickr's mobile site to be ...

Did you know that Brandon Backe is one of only 39 players in major league baseball history to strike out 3 batters in an inning on 9 pitches? It's called the immaculate inning. It's true, Brandon Backe did this on 4/15/04 against the Milwaukee Brewers in which he struck out Bill Hall, Scott Podsednik and Craig Counsell in the 8th inning of a 6-2 loss to the Brewers. Three other Astros have done this; Bob ...

Most of us are reasonable people and realize that OS X is different for a reason. Unfortunately, it appears that we are unusual people. Perhaps ...
