Amazon Acquires Shelfari: Moves To Corner Book-Centric Social Networks (35)

- Eric said: What? CNN's breaking news account actually posts news as it breaks? Preposterous! (Also, people really need to be blaming NBC here. They've been showing the Phelps races live on the east coast, so these tweets aren't a problem here, but they delay it on the west coast so that it fits into primetime.)
- Alex said: lol. boycott the Internet if you don't want to learn about news as it happens.
- sascha said: We've been dealing with this for years, if you want to watch delayed coverage then yep you shut off the radio, the tv, your computer if you really don't want to hear the results before you see them.
- Trevor said: I'm actually happy to see any media outlet using new technology to get the news out. It's surprising to see CNN doing this, they tend to be a little "brick and mortar" at times. Good for them.
