George W. Bush is arguably the most controversial person in the world. Whether you love him or hate him, he is clearly one of the most influential figures in modern history (we’ll leave the politics of that influence up to you). And nowhere has his influence been displayed more than in the world of art. From the streets of Sydney to the museums of New York, President Bush has inspired an awakening in many artists. ...Shared by burkinaboy (142) Chris Bailey (7) Dan Marshall (2) Darren Isbrecht (77) Dave (48) EcoAussie (19) Ferdinand1977 (20) Ice (21) Jeff McIntire-Strasburg (86) Jon Phillips (23) Katie Fellows (37) Matt McGee (12) miasarmento (110) Michael Bartnett (43) Mohiul (96) Nicholas (0) Reem Abeidoh (49) SalvadorM (2) Tina Su (71) Umit Namli (13)- Ice said: 我只能说,小布很可怜!!!

MAKE: Blog: DIY dialysis machine saves baby's life (5)

Apparently even kidney dialysis machines designed for children were too big for Millie Kelly's 6-pound newborn body, so Dr. Malcom Coulthard (UK) made her a miniature dialysis machine - in his garage. It just goes to show that innovation can still happen at the individual level, even in the medical field.
