Make Firefox 3's Bookmarks Available to Launchy and Quicksilver [Firefox Tip] (28)
on Lifehacker (34010) permalinkFirefox 3 doesn't store your bookmarks in the plain old HTML file that Firefox 2 did, so desktop launchers like Quicksilver and Launchy can't index them properly. But the HackCollege blog has a solution: a Firefox 3 about:config tweak that makes Firefox automatically export your bookmarks to a file. Tom's Hardware says Apple and PC prices are equivalent (45)
on The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW) (5978) permalinkFiled under: Analysis / Opinion, Desktops, Hardware, Apple, Macbook Pro, Mac ProI love Tom's Hardware -- they're traditionally a PC site (and being a gamer, I've built and run my share of PCs), but like most PC guys, they aren't afraid to lay out the specs and draw direct conclusions from there. Going Back to School: Picking Up Where Facebook Left Off (3)

But now another startup is looking to fill the void that ...
