Google Docs Adds PDF Uploads and Previews (37)
on Mashable! (2107) permalinkEarlier this week there were a few Google Docs users that noticed added support for PDF files, and today Google has confirmed it. Searching from the Address Bar (30)
on Google Operating System (697) permalinkWhile many people replaced their browser's address bar with Google's search box, there's also a way to use the address bar as a search box. If you don't type a valid web address, Firefox sends your query to Google and you are redirected to the top search result (for navigational queries like [honda]) or to the list of search results. But you are not limited to Google, you can invoke any search engine from the ...Shared by Ameer (35) baardoa (31) badpazzword (36) biano (24) Brit (66) Chung (121) davidorban (8) Divino (5) Edith (1) Eunix (65) griflet (11) HejGustav (55) jccamus (51) Jonathan The Seagull (136) Karpuscul (20) Keef (61) kukoo (47) Mason (10) Mehran (19) mjs (10) mmhan (51) Navid (98) Nick (61) Niclas (32) Nikke (80) Ruben Llibre (56) slogoo (61) Steve (11) Techfanatic (136) Tomasz Tarczyński (3)

on WordPress › Support Topic: [Plugin: Twitter Tools] Retrieve twitter url in wp post? (0) permalink@twitter tools plugin: I'm using the create-wordpress-post-from-tweet functionality so that I can include my tweets in my wordpress loops. Is there any way to access the tweet's url (ie. twitter.com/username/statuses/2320930490) to display within the loop? I'm guessing it would require some customization but I wasn't sure if the plugin even returned that data... on Comments on: Twitter Tools 1.2b1 (0) permalinkHello! I had posted a comment awhile back that got summarily deleted, possibly for too closely resembling a request for support, which it really wasn’t, I swear! Anyway I figured out how to solve the problem on my own, and I posted the steps I took. http://edithfrost... Basically, I was trying to get the post-individual-tweets-to-blog feature working the same way it does when you post to digest… with the linkback after the tweet, and inside ...Shared by Edith (1)

Create Rounded Corners For Images with RoundPic (15)
on Mashable! (2107) permalinkRoundPic is exactly what the name suggests: an image editing site where simple, square photos can be uploaded and smoothed out to create sleek, rounded corners. Line forms outside 5th Avenue store (1)
on MacUser (26) permalinkEngadget brings us photos of a line that formed yesterday mysteriously. Weighing in at approximately 60 people deep, the line formed suddenly. I immediately searched for some kind of product announcement, but there was none. Some of the people don’t know what they’re in line for (they just like being in line). Some think there’s a 3G iPhone. According to Apple reps, they’re trying to keep iPhone buyers controlled. You won’t like iPhone buyers when ...Shared by Edith (1)
