A repeal of a tax on wooden arrows is but one of the many pork provisions getting tacked onto the bailout bill in order to win support from recalcitrant Congress Critters. This is even better than the $0.10 Michigan recycling refund.I've been trying to crunch my wooden arrow business numbers for ages. Finally the margins will work. If you miss the old-school feeling of kaiju movies like the classic 1950s and 60s Gojira flicks, then your heart will be warmed by 2005 CGI short Negadon: The Monster from Mars. Made with contemporary effects to emulate unique look achieved by guys in giant suits duking it out on the ruins of Tokyo, this movie lovingly recreates the classic kaiju era. Watch a giant crustacean from Mars fight the super-robot Miroku. There's a kind ...

There is a force called "dark flow" that exists outside our universe, and it's tugging several galaxy clusters at 2 million mph toward an empty spot in space between Centaurus (pictured) and Vela. This isn't like dark matter, which exerts a more localized pull: Dark flow is a force that's operating at a universe level to push enormous chunks of matter around. Writing in Astrophysical Journal Letters, a group of astronomers say that this dark ...

Pittsburgh Public Schools officials have enacted a policy that sets 50 percent as the minimum score a student can receive for assignments, tests and other work. District spokeswoman Ebony Pugh said, the 50 percent minimum gives children a chance to catch up and a reason to keep trying. If a student gets a 20 percent in a class for the first marking period, he or she would need a 100 percent during the second marking ...

Though many white people consider competitive sports to be too aggressive and macho for their tastes there are a few exceptions. The most notable is Soccer since for some reason it is wrong to get fired up about Football game, but right to get fired up about a Football match. We thought we'd offer our suggestions for making it through the rough waters many of us are facing: 1. Don't panic/worry. It's not going to do you any good at best and at worst it can lead you to make some very poor financial moves. 2. Learn from what's going ...

First Alliance customers complained about extremely high fees and higher interest rates than what they signed up for. An internal memo by a Lehman brothers exec called First Alliance a mortgage ...
