Finally! Google to Offer RSS Feeds for Web Search Results (106)
on
ReadWriteWeb (4895) permalink
A rumor that's been floating around the web lately is that Google will offer RSS feeds for new results in basic web search. Today Search Engine Land confirmed that Google will "soon" offer this functionality. Why is this big news? Because there's no better way to keep track of new mentions of a company, person or concept online than through RSS. As Search Engine Land's Matt McGee points out in his post, Google is the ...Shared by abrudtkuhl (24) Adam Maldonado (229) Aditya Kavoor (4) aemkei (32) AJ (225) Alan Dean (54) Alex Dumitru (282) Alex Whyke (27) Anders (21) Andrew Rodrigues (38) Anton Johansson (51) arjo (90) Badam (93) Bill Welense (6) billrod (30) bittin (285) Brad Brown Jr. (20) Brian (148) Bruno Campagnolo de Paula (42) Carissa (32) charles (297) Chris Dawson (1) Cindy (20) Crowdadmin (15) Dave Winer (28) Diego C (21) Dion Rodrigues (19) Donald Jenkins (6) Doug (67) doug coleman (5) Ed Cox (5) Edwin Khodabakchian (20) Ehsan (24) Erwin Tang Yew Hon (96) Fabian Mohr (6) Farzin (42) Florent Solt (37) Gary (22) gastaoss (34) Geert De Laet (13) HUNG (105) iAlja (69) Jake (26) James Dorminey (22) Jamie Diamond (11) Jason Boucher (3) Jay (19) Jean-Philippe Sirois (11) Jeff (61) Jim (17) John Boitnott (90) Josh Bancroft (31) kamandal (671) keith (85) Kenji (59) kev (107) Kevin_Jim (36) Kobi (6) LouCypher (76) lovemorgul (686) LUCCHINA (271) marcell (29) Mark Greenfield (4) MeghnaK (857) metaeuphoria (20) Michael (114) Michael Kogelman (13) Mike Abundo (25) mridul (44) Muhammad Saleem (229) Mushin (53) Nathan Rome (2) Neil Williams (16) Neko (25) Øystein Fledsberg (12) Page (22) Paul Dunay (31) Paul Edwards (60) PK (1) Quinn (30) renganathan (98) Rich (26) Roger Kondrat (27) Ronan Menton (14) rony john (376) Samuel (64) sean h (50) Sean McBride (115) Sébastien BOLLINGH (6) Seppe vanden Broucke (6) Simon Wren (23) Sung Choi (5) Tim (27) Trevor Wermund (278) Tyson Williams (94) ultraviolet (34) Vincent Ballut (78) Vincent Wright (5) w0lfh0und (431) Who Knows? Google Launches AdSense For Games (4)

GigaOM (843) permalink
Almost a year after we first reported about Google’s desire to bring AdSense to online games and ultimately dominating the game-related advertising business, the company today announced AdSense for games. We had thought that the advertising for games would go live in November 2007, but apparently even Google can’t move fast. Google first started talking about AdSense for Games at industry events last summer. Google has roped in game developers and publishers including Konami, Playfish, ...Contribute comment -

Retro and vintage are becoming a new trend. Once rarely used in this robust, dynamic medium, early, retro and vintage elements are now becoming more and more popular in a variety of design contexts. Online shops, corporate designs, portfolios and blogs incorporate both styles on a small and large scale. When applying “old-style” elements to their works, designers produce creative and appealing designs that make their websites stand out and look really different. Quick Overview of Ruby Threads Ruby 1.8.7 (MRI) implements threads completely in userland (also called “green threads” for short) even if built with pthreads. This means that underlying OS kernel has no knowledge about any threads created in ruby programs. In the view of the kernel, it only sees a process with one thread. This one thread is the ruby interpreter which has its own scheduler and threading implementation built-in. What this means for the ...Shared by Florent Solt (37) maccman (24)Contribute comment - Florent Solt shared as favorite Super Mario Rescues The Princess - SuperFiction, le blog ::: marketing interactif, experience utilisateur, conception multimedia (1)
