YouTube adds “Read Comment Aloud” feature from xkcd (78)

A couple weeks ago, xkcd ran this funny comic: Randall Monroe, the creator of xkcd, suggested that if YouTube commenters had to listen to their comments read back to them aloud, it might lead to better discussion on YouTube. Some Googlers thought that was a pretty fun suggestion, so they did it. YouTube now has an audio preview so you can listen to your comment before you post it. Terrafugia Transition Flying Car Unbelievably Close to Reality, Going On Sale Next Year [Terrafugia Transition Flying Car] (17)

Unlike so many other pie-in-the-sky tech masturbation fantasies masquerading as projects that'll see the light of day, Terrafugia's Transition flying car amazingly looks like it really will go on sale next year, as its creators claimed three years ago. Gregory Mone from Pop Sci even got to sit in the $194,000 car, which is basically "a single-engine, rear-propeller airplane that just happens to be street-legal." It's still on track for its first test flight next ...Shared by Ahsan Navid Hussain (443) Andrew Rodrigues (38) Arslan Zahid (141) charris1980 (25) daniel (46) Dave (94) Ember Case (19) Jason H (34) Jason Hoch (57) jason o (134) John Fitzsimmons (10) kamandal (599) lovemorgul (616) Michael Johnson (18) Paulo (9) Ryan Lewis (137) Stephanie Hicks (169)Contribute comment -
TouchType Makes iPhone Email Better With Landscape Mode (26)

For whatever reason, Apple decided not to allow “landscape mode” on iPhone email. If you want to turn the phone when the web browser is open and get the larger keyboard that makes two thumb typing realistic, no problem. But the email app is portrait only. Open the application and you get a landscape mode keypad. type an email, hit the send button ...Shared by Alberto (252) Alex (27) anand (24) Andrei (32) Brian (142) Chetan Bhawani (32) daniel (46) Dave (21) DigitalMike (22) Doug Funny (97) exists (22) Goktug (24) Harrison (22) J.D.
