The Google/Digg acquisition negotiations, which had passed the term sheet stage and were in final negotiations, are over, multiple sources close to both companies have confirmed. Google apparently notified Google sometime late Thursday or Friday. Only last Tuesday (July 22) we had confirmation that the two companies were close to a $200 million deal.
