Sync and Back Up Your Data with Conduit for Linux (59)
on Lifehacker (11066) permalinkAdmit it—even if your desk could be the cover shot for Organized Worker Monthly, your data is all over the place. Between desktop apps, online networks, and webapp tools, it's easy to lose track of data and duplicate tasks, simply because it's not all accessible, or it takes too much of your time to keep it all synced up and together. 10+ Sites for Product Reviews from Experts and Consumers (26)
on Mashable! (5467) permalinkBecause they’re typically steeped in subjectivity, product reviews tend to be more effective when grouped together. Outlook vs. Gmail - 7h3 Ð3ƒ1n171v3 (0mp4r1$10n (56)
on Lifehacker (11066) permalinkEditor: Being digital vagabonds without an Exchange server, we Lifehacker writers use online apps like Gmail and Google Calendar to get things done. But can an Outlook user make the switch without losing out? Guest contributor Jared Goralnick's here today to take a look. Gmail launched in 2004 and has matured each year, but Microsoft Outlook (with Exchange) is still the most popular tool for accessing email. Comparing the two side by side, is it ...Shared by AaronTN (187) AJ (1159) Andre (4) ani625 (555) Arvin (44) Brenton (90) Camtron 9000 (384) Carbonlord (838) Chad (386) Christopher Elliott (742) Christopher Evans (29) ckaroli (266) Daemach (73) dalehugo (32) DiMar (43) dobata (1552) Doug (9) Duane (353) Evgeni L. / Reepicheep (142) Fuad (16) HejGustav (137) Holger E (62) houseinrlyeh (193) Howard (22) Ingar (14) Ion (29) Israel (17) JASon (21) Jason David Pelker (109) Jon Host (86) Josh (26) Josi (67) judson (39) Kendra (56) Mark McKay (105) Michael (142) Mr. BabyMan (1704) nparker13 (548) Paul (46) PMinze (172) Pramod (386) prattmic (263) rOckY (669) Ryan (84) sinisterff (50) Spudsstuff (129) Srinvard (251) st even (17) Steve (142) Steve (6) Stewtopia (14) TJ (99) wvpv (45) Wyctim (154) Zoram (83) 攻疼新一 (1184)
- Chad said: I've recently, finally, started to make great strides in converting my less tech savy friends and family to Gmail for personal emails. Due mostly, I think, to the fact that people are getting sick of not having access to their email absolutely everywhere. Why go through the trouble of configuring an email client on every machine you use? Your emails exist "in the cloud", so why not also your client? Next step, office documents.
- AaronTN said: Really good article. Great if you are trying to make your way over to Gmail.
- Stewtopia said: Jared's got a great comparison of the two products here. While the article probably won't get anyone in these two entrenched camps to switch products, it does highlight the strengths and weaknesses of both platforms.

21 Techniques to Be Interesting (34)
on Copyblogger (324) permalink“Be interesting.” It’s good advice, but it’s nothing new. You’ve probably known from the beginning that being able to interest readers is a crucial part of growing a popular blog. It’s pretty obvious that no one is going to stick around unless they find your blog interesting. But how are you supposed to do it exactly? How can you “be interesting?” Far too much of what we write about attention and interest is abstract. We ...Shared by AJ (1159) Anand L (48) ani625 (555) Avi (3424) Ben Parr (183) Brandon J. Instead, the wide selection (in every market, not just digital ones) is a collection of smaller long tails, each with its own dip, each with its own winners (and losers). Pick the biggest market you can successfully dominate, the biggest slice where you can get through the Dip and be seen as the best in that world."
